Dr. Jeffrey F. Williams, PhD, BVSc, MRCVS, is a renowned microbiologist and infectious disease expert who has dedicated his career to advancing public health through innovative research and practical solutions. As the co-founder and Chief Science Officer of HaloSource, Dr. Williams spearheaded the development of cutting-edge drinking water purification systems aimed at improving the lives of low-income communities worldwide. In his role as Chief Science Officer for Briotech, he led the global charge in hypochlorous acid technology and manufacturing, furthering advancements in healthcare.
With over 30 patents in water treatment, disease control, and odor control, Dr. Williams' contributions to science and technology are both prolific and impactful. His election as a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) underscores his significant scientific achievements. As a Professor Emeritus of Microbiology and Molecular Genetics at Michigan State University, he has educated and mentored countless students, shaping the future of scientific research.
