Joshua P. Johnston, MBA
Joshua is a seasoned financial executive with over 20 years of experience across various finance and business functions, particularly within the consumer goods industry. He has held senior leadership roles such as VP of Operations, EVP of Global Business Development, COO, and CEO at both national and international corporations. Joshua’s strategic, data-driven approach has consistently driven business growth by optimizing profitability, enhancing operational efficiencies, and increasing enterprise value through capital raising, financial restructuring, and global expansions.
Prior to joining Medesol Health, Joshua served as EVP of Global Business Development at Briotech Inc., a leader in the HOCl industry, where he played a key role in securing partnerships to expand global production through their patented WHISH Systems. His leadership contributed to the growth of the disinfection, health, cosmetic, and pet care markets.
As CEO of OxiScience, Joshua spearheaded the financial restructuring of the startup, implemented operational efficiencies, and led successful capital raises through equity investment and convertible notes. Under his guidance, OxiScience achieved record revenue growth, particularly in the pet and home care markets, with a 3x increase in monthly revenues over two years.
At HaloSource, Inc., an innovative water technology company, Joshua held key finance and operations roles, including Director of Finance and VP of Operations. He played a pivotal role in raising $125 million through multiple rounds of financing, including a $30M private equity raise, $15M pre-IPO, and an $80M Initial Public Offering (IPO) in 2010.
Joshua holds an MBA with a focus in Technology Management from the University of Washington, where he continues to mentor future business leaders. His extensive financial expertise, combined with his leadership experience, makes him an invaluable asset in driving financial strategy and operational excellence.
